    Toldimfos sodium is the sodium salt of 4-dimethylamino-2-methyl-phenyl-phosphinous acid, a derivative of phosphoric acid. Toldimfos is an aromatic phosphorus compound which falls between phosphorous itself and phosphoric acid in the stages of oxidation.
