Sugammadex is used to reverse neuromuscular blockade after administration of the aminosterioid non-depolarizing neuromuscular-blocking agents such as vecuronium or rocuronium.
General Description
Sugammadex (Org 25969, tradename Bridion) is an agent for the reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced by rocuronium and vecuronium[1] in general anaesthesia. It is the first selective relaxant binding agent.
